![]() ![]() ![]() It's nigh impossible to go back to a single display, once you go multi-display, with respect to editing. Not a good performance increase, for cost increase. The amount of budget increase to make the CUDA approach from a GPU to accelerate these actions is minimal increase, for the massive GPU cost it would take to even notice it (minimum adding something like a 750 TI chipset series, over $150+ if you can find one, or $200+ if you really want it to make any difference). You won't benefit greatly from it for this. Don't put any money into a GPU beyond an inexpensive one that is basic. Ideally, each image will be processed for noise individually before making a big stitch. And while they support CUDA, you will be fine without a GPU. You will not need anymore GPU than was already linked, something basic, for Topaz and NIK collection actions. I wanted to add that Booju uses TOPAZ LABS and NIK COLLECTION, so I saw that timd35 mentioned that requires good GPU - I can look into the recommended requirement for that but from what you guys know, do you have recommended GPU for that? or will onboard/integrated gpu work?īearmann, thank you for the website link! Booju mentioned that he only needs one monitor. In a last ditch effort I am going to post the info and would appreciate it greatly if someone would give a response.Thank you for the feedback! Just wanted to reply specifically to MalVeau - I think you make a really good suggestion in AMD Ryzen 5 for price/performance ratio and I can use the saved money toward a good monitor. I would like to try AI Gigapixel but don’t know if my graphics card is adequate and trying to figure it out has me to the point of saying" forget it". Or probably they are way over my head dunno so I am just going to ask and hope someone will just answer my question and not berate me for asking. Discussions about technical requirements cause my eyes to roll back in my head. ![]()
